No. NightCheck works alongside your existing PMS or reservation system and focuses on after-hours registration.
Do we need to buy a kiosk?
No. Guests can access NightCheck from their own phone using a QR code, NFC tap, or campground URL. It can also run on a campground-provided tablet or touchscreen if you choose.
Can NightCheck support Dynamic Pricing?
Yes. Campground-defined Dynamic Pricing can be supported as an option for after-hours stays. For KOA campgrounds, this can include the applicable Best Available Rate (BAR), with the nightly rate presented before payment.
How are payments handled for KOA campgrounds?
NightCheck uses the campground's Stripe account for payment processing. The funds flow to the campground through Stripe; NightCheck never takes custody of the campground's money.
What counts as a completed registration?
A registration counts when the guest completes the NightCheck registration flow. Abandoned or incomplete attempts do not count toward included registrations or usage charges.
What happens when our campground closes for the season?
You can pause the subscription for $0 per month. Your configuration and historical data remain intact, and there is no reactivation fee.
Can we set it up ourselves?
Self-service setup is coming soon. For now, Guided Launch gives you hands-on help configuring and testing NightCheck before you go live.
